Gum Surgery Today

Went in for correction of a bad root canal today. I honestly didn’t expect it be so painful. It involved going in through the gums. Once the novocaine wore off, man did it hurt! I took the prescribed pain killer right away and it honestly hasn’t helped much. I don’t want to imagine how it would feel without it.

The next time we take a walk thought all of the Famous Grazing Blogs, I hope we have better news.

What was there about this set up

There was something about the blogdrive set up that kept me away from making entries here. We need to figure out what.

Could it be because the blogdrive editor was not on the list of grazing editors? Could it be there was no exterior off line editor about which we were aware?

We’ll have to look into it.

Meanwhile, standby.

There were some technical problems, and a trip to Maine, and insufferable Summer heat, and a touch of laziness, but the Bell Tower Newsis back up and running! We’re Back in business

Netscape 8.0

After all of the hype about Netscape 8.0 being not compatible with MS IE XML I hesitated downloading it. Then I realized I don’t use MS IE.

So here I am making this entry on a Netscape 8.01 screen It works fine for me. I downloaded all of the bookmarks and passwords from Firefox, Opera and MS IE. Worked like a charm.

I will use it for the rest of the day and report any problems I have with here, or at one of the other Famous Grazing Blogs.

I mentioned earlier that I was looking into the TidyWiki set up. It's a fun thing with which to play, but I am not sure if it's something I can use at the moment. I have loaded one up on the server and called it GrazingNotebookWiki. Another version is the Grazing Agenda. Kudos to those who have put the hours into this.

The lawn needs mowing, the oil needs to be changed and the rugs need to be vacuumed. WikiStuff is for the rare spare time for now.

This is a photo of a big pile of dirt that fell on Manhattan's Henry Hudson Highway.
Have you ever seen a picture like this, know you've driven over that spot dozens of times and it never once occured to you something like this can happen?

If you tab past the "Current" box it takes you to a pop-up asking if you want to post. If you just hit the clear button, it brings you back here. Don't have much to add here, but I thought it a good thing to post each day to establish the page. I have plans to add features to the side of the blog. I'll probably do that this weekend.
